3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Full Refund Scenarios

You may be eligible for a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Project Not Started: If we have not commenced work on your project and you cancel within 48 hours of payment
  • Our Inability to Deliver: If we are unable to deliver the agreed services due to circumstances on our end
  • Duplicate Payment: In case of accidental duplicate transactions

3.2 Partial Refund Scenarios

Partial refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Milestone-Based Projects: Refund for uncompleted milestones only
  • Scope Reduction: When mutually agreed to reduce project scope
  • Quality Issues: If deliverables do not meet agreed specifications and cannot be rectified within reasonable time

3.3 Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after project commencement
  • Delays caused by client's failure to provide necessary information or feedback
  • Completed and delivered projects that meet agreed specifications
  • Third-party costs already incurred (domain names, hosting, licenses, etc.)
  • Services already rendered and time already spent on the project
  • Projects canceled after 30% or more completion

4. Refund Process

4.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Submit a written refund request to refunds@tail.agency within 15 days of the issue
  2. Include your project ID, invoice number, and detailed reason for the refund request
  3. Provide any supporting documentation or evidence
  4. Allow us 48-72 hours to review and respond to your request

4.2 Review Process

Upon receiving your refund request:

  • We will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
  • Our team will review the request against our refund criteria
  • We may request additional information if needed
  • A decision will be communicated within 5-7 business days

4.3 Refund Timeline

If your refund is approved:

  • Processing Time: 7-10 business days from approval
  • Bank Transfers: Additional 3-5 business days for bank processing
  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days depending on your bank
  • Digital Wallets: 1-3 business days
  • International Refunds: May take up to 15-20 business days

5. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction:

  • Credit/Debit Card payments will be refunded to the same card
  • Bank transfers will be refunded to the originating bank account
  • PayPal payments will be refunded to the PayPal account
  • Razorpay/Stripe payments will be refunded through the respective gateway

In exceptional cases, alternative refund methods may be arranged with mutual agreement.

6. Currency and Exchange Rates

For international transactions:

  • Refunds will be processed in the original transaction currency
  • Exchange rate fluctuations between payment and refund dates are not covered
  • Any currency conversion fees charged by banks are the client's responsibility

7. Dispute Resolution

Before requesting a refund, we encourage clients to:

  • Communicate concerns with your project manager
  • Allow us opportunity to address and resolve issues
  • Consider revisions or modifications to meet expectations
  • Participate in mediation if necessary

8. Special Conditions

8.1 Subscription Services

For ongoing subscription services:

  • Refunds are prorated for unused service periods
  • Cancellation must be done before the next billing cycle
  • No refunds for partially used billing periods

8.2 Custom Development

For custom development projects:

  • Refunds exclude time already invested in research and development
  • Intellectual property created remains with TAIL Agency unless fully paid
  • Source code is provided only after full payment

9. Quality Guarantee

We stand behind our work with the following guarantees:

  • Bug-Free Guarantee: We will fix any bugs in our code free of charge for 90 days
  • Satisfaction Guarantee: We will work with you to ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications
  • Communication Guarantee: We maintain transparent communication throughout the project

10. Force Majeure

Refunds may be considered in cases of force majeure events that prevent project completion, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemic-related restrictions, or government actions. Such cases will be evaluated individually.

11. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this refund policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your transaction.
